Read: the beautiful French style. Located in Kyiv’s Rybalsky Peninsula, the space boasts breathtaking views of the Dnipro River. The apartment is a dream realized for a creative couple; they have a penchant for global exploration, particularly destinations inhabited by the playful primates that inspired the project’s name, “Lucky Monkeys”.

The bedroom features a muted beige color — allowing the handmade plaster moldings to make their statement. These are highlighted by accent lights installed on the ceiling. Simultaneously, a gold lamp on a metallic side table adds to the aesthetics. A comfy bed provides the comfort you’ll need at the end of the day!

A special mention to the integrated, freestanding bathtub. This lets you conveniently shift from the bed to the bath for your morning soak. Here, a shift in flooring delineates the space. As you enjoy your morning coffee, the large window allows the sun’s rays to filter in. And, walking out of the bedroom, a sleek closet is illuminated with undercabinet lighting.

The bathrooms in this French-style apartment create a design statement of their own. Luxurious white marble forms the foundation for these spaces. When it comes to the shower, a glass partition helps add the dramatic presence of sculptures. You can find a vessel sink as well as a wall-mounted vanity in the bathrooms. Gold hardware and metallic cabinetry add a high-end touch. We especially love the monkey hanging from the ceiling, illuminating the space!

When a traveling couple resides in an apartment, they will need a workstation, too. And this open workspace with a French country style serves the purpose. A light oakwood wall-mounted table is paired with two matte black chairs, perfect to sit and have a cup of coffee as you work the night away.

The cozy nooks and detailing in this apartment are worth mentioning. Velvet blue accent chairs add a bold statement. In another cozy nook, a floor cushion provides ample room to cozy up.

The cantilevered staircase in this apartment adds manufacturability. One that makes this space a true architectural masterpiece. The wooden blocks are paired with accent lighting, which beautifully highlights their decorative presence.

Walking towards the living area, we observe the floor plan is open. It integrates the living, kitchen, and dining areas to form a connected space.

The living area features an expansive, comfortable sofa — inviting you to sink in as you spend a lazy Sunday afternoon. In the corner, a rattan vase is highlighted with accent lighting. On the other end of the space is the open kitchen area, and a wooden dining table in between visually divides both spaces. Simultaneously, the wall moldings and metallic gold cabinetry add to the visual aesthetics.

The gold faucet and cabinetry hardware factor in opulence. This lets even the most functional elements of the space to double as decorative pieces. We especially love the strategic use of lighting — placing focus on all the stunning parts of this open floor space.
