Dream Pools To Lounge By This Summer

13:40

Summer is reminiscent of sunny days, warm nights, light dinners, frolicking in the pool, and outdoor hangouts. With the season upon us, you want to get your pool ready to dazzle you and your guests.

Don’t let the project of transforming your poolside deter you from living out the dream of enjoying your summer experience.

Keep it simple, and remember that all you need is a space to work with, and shade to lay back, relax and enjoy in. Don’t be afraid to bring out all the fun colors and accessories that would create your dream pool to lounge by this summer.

So here are some fun ways to turn your bland poolside into a romantic getaway or a dream destination, all within your own backyard!

Add Intrigue with Lighting

I love how lights make a place come alive. If you want to add pizzazz to your backyard pool, know how to bring your lights into play. For instance, you can put in underwater lighting for some iridescent glow like these:

Or you could go the more traditional but no less intriguing way of putting overhead lights to make the stars seem closer like these people did with their pools.

Get Creative with Planters

What’s more natural-looking than plants? Give your pool a more attractive and unique look by using recycled tires as planters for a small garden feel. Summer and bright flowers go hand-in-hand, so get it on!

Or if you’re not interested in upcycling, a few simple and sleek planters (or colorful and eye-catching, whatever suits you!) can do wonders for the patio surrounding your pool.

Use Rocks for a Pretty Pool Landscape

Give your poolside a little more oomph by incorporating rocks around your pool. You could also add gravel from your pool to the fence. Poolside rocks are easy to maintain and, of course, never go out of trend.

Bring Out the Lounge Chairs

Don’t forget that lounging is the best part of a poolside relaxation experience. Whether you want the chairs a bit further from the pool, very close, or even inside the water, the choice is yours. What matters is adding lounge chairs where you and your guests can lay back and bask in the sun.

Try Table Containers

Aside from the fact that tables are a cute addition to your summer pool lounging experience, you can also use them as storage. Table containers like this are a great way to keep things within reach but away from the water. Cool right?

Use Patio Umbrellas

In the summer, the scorching sun might interfere with your outdoor lounging; that’s why patio umbrellas were made. Use colorful patio umbrellas to give your pool that summer feel while keeping the harsh rays of the sun away from your face.

Accessorize Your Pool

You can never go wrong with accessories, and your pool deserves some whimsical decor. Add some inflatable drink holders, lanterns, floating lights, etc.
